Hayfever – Are You Prepared?

It looks like we’ve finally hit Spring time – my favorite time of the year especially in Brisbane. Warm days, beautiful blue skies = perfect beach weather! Flowers begin to bloom, trees are finishing pollinating, while grass and weeds are only starting to pollinate.

For some this is a beautiful time of the year, but for others Spring time is the most dreaded!

The increase of pollination combined with the urge to spend more time outside in the sunshine, can trigger those awful hay fever symptoms that you forgot about during Winter.

Spring time is a special time of the year, and shouldn’t be missed by anyone. So if you are a sufferer of hay fever during Spring and Summer, than right now is a good time to start putting in some preventative measures so that you don’t suffer for the rest of the year.

Multiple Chemical Sensitivity Syndrome Part Two – Underlying Causes and Treatment

There are many underlying causative factors that could have initiated your sensitivity to low amounts of chemicals in your environment.

Over exposure to large amounts of chemicals could have triggered your MCS, even viruses or severe stress can leave your immune system hypersensitive to its environment.

Often nutritional deficiencies caused from a poor diet, gastrointestinal inflammation and excess alcohol intake can greatly deplete the body of specific nutrients essential for adequate detoxification – causing more and more chemical/food sensitivities.
