Find out about the top five most frequently asked questions about Nambudripad’s Allergy Elimination Technique (NAET).
Children can be treated with NAET beginning from any age; it is painless and completely safe. If your child is under the age of 5, a surrogate (a parent or caregiver) is used to muscle test on whilst skin to skin contact remains with the child. The treatment is then administered to the parent or caregiver which will be transferred to the child through skin to skin contact.
If the NAET protocols are taken out properly and performed by a qualified NAET practitioner then it is very rare that the allergy will return. According to the Dr Devi Nambudripad and her findings, it has been shown that the results can be permanent. So if you have been desensitized to a specific allergen, that allergen should not affect you again following the treatment.
According to the NAET technique, you will be assessed for the first 15 basic food allergies. You will then be treated in order of the food allergies that were tested. This order is very structured and must be followed for your treatments to be successful.
Food allergies are of prime importance to eliminate first so that your body can absorb and digest all of the nutrients needed for an optimum body and healthy immune system. Once this is achieved environmental and chemical allergies can be treated. Once the food allergies are treated, it is often that your body eliminates other allergies itself as your immune system has become stronger and is functioning better. This can happen with chemical and environmental allergens, if not then they can also be treated.
The only time environmental or chemical allergies are treated before food allergies, are if you are experiencing a severe allergic reaction to a specific substance at that time.
The order of the first 15 basics that are treated are as follows:
If you were to see a NAET practitioner for a dairy allergy, but you also tested allergic to egg mix then the egg mix must be treated first. You will then be treated for Calcium mix. This order is necessary for all treatments to be effective.
Only one allergy group can be treated per treatment followed by the 25 hour avoidance period. If multiple food allergy groups were treated in each treatment, it would be very hard for you to avoid such a broad range of foods that you were treated for during the 25 hour avoidance period.
This is determined by the amount of allergies you are tested for. Depending on the severity of your allergy or sensitivity to a particular food or substance, you may require more than one treatment. Usually no more than three treatments are needed for a given food allergy.
